Space installation on the occasion of the
concert project “Mitten wir im Leben
sind” in cooperation with the church
musician Wilko Ossoba, 2004.

The installation refers to the central
composition of Franz Liszt “Totentanz“
concert and also is based on the creative debate on the mediaeval
demonstration of the Dance of
Death of the Marienkirche in Lübeck
(Germany) and of Reval (historical
name of Tallinn in Estonia).
Six urns out of bog oak with a height
between 80 and 190cm and a diameter
between 25 and 60 cm are standing
in fields of bog oak shavings in
two different shaving sizes, caption
with an extract of the Dance of Death
of Reval in Old Middle High German,
pictured projection with the crucifix
of Barkau in front of a background
made of bog oak shavings as a digital
montage.
