Born in 1966 in Hamburg (Germany), 1985 Abitur [diploma from
German Secondary School qualifying for university admission or
matriculation], community service as an alternative to military service,
stay abroad in the USA. Married with D. Olshausen, a musician,
four children.
Since 1988 studied Fine Arts in Kiel (Germany) at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design under Professor Koblasa.
1996 Diploma in Sculpture. Study trips to Egypt, Czechoslovakia (CSSR), USA.
Since 1989 regular working stays in a stone quarry in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany).
1997-1999 worked as a teacher in the art studio for children “Pädiko“ in Kiel (Germany).
Since 1999 maintained sculpture courses in own studio.
Since 1996 working as a freelancer, exhibitions and projects in Germany and abroad. Membership in the National Artists Association (BBK - Bundesverband
Bildender Künstler – Landesverband Schleswig Holstein) in Schleswig Holstein (Germany), membership in the artist group Steinverein Anroechte,
membership in the German-Polish artist group Kiel-Jakubowo (Poland) (1993-200) and in the German-Danish artist group www.kunstkorn.de
